About
Fabric Pumpkins
very holiday I drag my decorations out from my crawl space. I love decorating for each holiday, and enjoy all the fun ideas for decoration online, and in the stores. Each time I get my box of fall decorations out year after year, I think, “man I don’t have very many decorations for one of my favorite seasons.” I hate to spend loads of money on decorating my house for each season/holiday though.
How can you save money while decorating your home for the holiday/seasons??
You can do DIY projects! These are the best because most the time you have supplies laying around your craft room. Or you can spend a little amount of money to purchase the supplies.

Step 1
Step 1: gather up all your supplies.
Step 2: Measure and cut your different fabrics. I made a large, tall medium and small pumpkin. Suggested sizes:15.5 wide by 7.5 tall,32 wide by 13 tall and 21 wide by 16 tall.
Step 3 & 4: fold the right sides in on each fabric and sew. Sew the long side and one short bottom. Leave one bottom open so you can stuff it.Step 5: Once you have each fabric sewn together turn them right side out and lay out flat.

Step 2
Step 6: Stuff your pumpkins with your stuffing. You can use cotton stuffing, old socks with holes whatever you have laying around.
Step 7: Fold both bottoms in like you are wrapping a present and hot glue the ends. This makes your fabric more pumpkin form.
Step 8: Take your yarn or jute twine and tie it around your pumpkin. Tie is 2 or 4 times around and tie off at the bottom of your pumpkin.
Step 9: Hot glue your stem on the top of your pumpkin. You can make leaves or curly leaves to attach with hot glue next to the stem.
Step 10: Now find the perfect spot for your pumpkins. You can make more and more now and be set for fall decor. Enjoy!
