Description

What a super simple and easy way to decorate the frames! All you need is a wooden frame, tissue paper, and some mod podge!

Instructions

  1. Start off with a plain wooden frame. You can find these at your local craft store, or even the dollar store. Then, I would suggest popping off the "glass" piece of the frame (they're usually plastic) so that you don't get it dirty and to make applying the tissue paper to the inner sides easier.

  2. Next, decide how you want your frame to look...what colours/patterns of tissue paper do you want? Do you want rip up tissue paper and create a "mosaic-like" design, or do you want long strips of tissue paper so that your design is uniform and even?

  3. Once that's decided, apply mod podge using a foam brush onto your wooden frame. Then, taking your pieces of tissues paper (whether small or large) and glue it onto the frame. Follow up with another layer of mod podge on top of the the tissue paper to seal in your design and give it a finished look. Voila! Your newly vamped wooden frames!
