Hey guys! Christmas is coming, do you feel its spirit in the air already? I definitely do, and what comes to my mind is nothing but crafting! I present to you a fun idea to decorate your children’s room with making a few adorable birdhouses. Whether you'll set up a scene or you hang the from the ceiling - kids will love them!
Lets start with the toilet roll. Put it on the yellow paper to determine the size of the piece piece of paper you'll need to cover the whole cylinder. Cut the paper and glue it to the roll precisely. You might also use a spray paint if you have one. Mine finished last week so I made it this way.
Lightly mark the window frames with a pencil and cut them carefully with a model knife.
Use the form of the tape to draw a circle on the back side of a patterned paper of your choice. It will be the roof - the bigger the circle, the higher the roof.
Point the center and cut a straight line from the end of the circle to the point. Form the roof and glue it well.
Stick the cone to the cardboard roll with a tape.
Take the green paper and cut a small strip. Stick it to the lower part of the birdhouse's wall.
Draw some bricks on the orange paper and cut them in a curved shape. Attach the paper to the outer side.
Print a sheet with owls, small enough to fit the window frame. Use a tape to attach it on the inside of the house. Finish with coloring the inner side of the windows. Project found on: http://www.kollabora.com/users/520318/nia-greenwood
