How to turn a Crate into a rustic basket.
Have you ever looked at something and new it needed to be something else? This little crate had a bigger purpose in life, and turning it into a basket was definitely the way to go!

You Will Need

Step 1I started by finding this little crate at the thrift shop. Then I cut out two sides with t1 11 and my miter saw. Sanded everything down and gave a quick coat of white spray paint.

Step 2After it dries I hit it with some dark Briwax. This stuff is perfect for giving something a rustic old vintage look. (you can find the full tutorial on my site linked to this craft)

Step 3Then I stapled the sides on, and added wire for the top giving it the perfect finishing touch!

Step 4To turn it into a beautiful Easter decor piece I added some spanish moss and moss covered eggs I made. This can be removed and changed for seasonal decor! Find the full tutorial with more details by going to my blog linked to this project!
