This is a really easy project to do if you are not scared of power tools. If you are not sure always get some one else to help you. Don't forget goggles.

Description

This is a really easy project to do if you are not scared of power tools. If you are not sure always get some one else to help you. Don't forget goggles.

Instructions

  1. Small blackboard 1

    Start by getting you equipment ready first. goggles, jigsaw,

    Now saw how you want the design to be. (first timers start with a basic design UN till you are good with the jigsaw) Now sand the edges so you don't get any splinters or cuts.

    Lay the wood down on the papered surface and get you tin of black board paint. mine was just under a fiver its the only thing i paid for.

    Now paint. Always brush in the same direction then leave to dry for 4 hours.

    After 4 hours go back and give it another coat. Then leave it for another 4 hours.

  6. Small blackboard5

    After 4 hours go back and give it another coat then leave for another 4 hours. After the last 4 hours turn over and do the same on the other side, but that by choice only.

    I made 2 on for my kitchen and one for my bedroom. The kitchen one i painted around the edges with some spare paint. Now there both hanging great and getting some use.
