So here is my take on the beetle juice dress. This has got to be my fave outfit.
So here is my take on the beetle juice dress. This has got to be my fave outfit.
Firstly my Mr Husband shrunk my fave dress and i didn't want to threw it away. I cut it from the thigh down.
Now turn it inside out and pin the first layer or tutu netting to the bottom of the skirt (remember not right on the edge)
Its best done with a sewing machine but mine is too small so i stitched most of mine by hand. Now add the second layer of tutu netting and sew it together.
Keep adding a layer of netting till you think it is the desired thickness (you don't want to showing you bum now do you)
After i finished with the tutu netting i measured around the top of the netting and cut out the length and width. This is to hid all the sewing around the bottom of the skirt. (sorry i don't have any pictures)
Now wear and be proud of what you have made.
