Description

Create this look for spring or summr! Tools your need: Makeup sponge, needle brush, and dotting tool. Polish you need: Light purple, dark purple, dark blue, pink, matte top coat and glossy top coat.

Instructions

  1. Small petaltut1

Start by painting a solid coat of your light purple. Let dry completely

  2. Small petaltut3

Using your blue polish, lightly sponge a section about 1/3 of the nail at the base of your nail bed. It doesn't have to be even as it will have pattern over it.

  3. Small petaltut4

Using your light purple blend into the blue, then using your bright pink sponge the tip of your nails, about a 1/3 of the way down.

  4. Small petaltut5

Using the same blue create random veins 1/2 way up from the base of the nail. They do not have to be perfect, irregularities give a more natural appearance.

  5. Small petaltut6

Using your dark purple complete the lines up to the tip of the nail.

  6. Small petaltut7

Using your light purple make irregular dots on top of the lines for the water droplets.

  7. Small petaltut8

Again using your dark purple and white outline the water droplets for the shadow and highlights. Finish off with a matte top coat. Once dry, use a glossy top coat just over the water droplets to give a wet look to the water.
