Just this week, I have stumbled upon Vogue's featured article regarding designers making a $1000 t-shirt. When I saw Prabal Gurung's creation, I immediately fell in love with the simplicity of the design and thought, maybe I can try stealing the look and make one like it.

Description

Just this week, I have stumbled upon Vogue's featured article regarding designers making a $1000 t-shirt. When I saw Prabal Gurung's creation, I immediately fell in love with the simplicity of the design and thought, maybe I can try stealing the look and make one like it.

Instructions

  1. Small img 3954

Find an old shirt you can work on... On my case I chose a shirt that is baby pink in color and have detached the chest pocket carefully.

Since I don't have any ribbons and I have dress with a big bow in it [which I don't plan to wear anymore] I carefully took off the bow from the dress. [I saved the rest of the dress for my other DIY projects]

Then I attached the bow to my shirt to resemble Gurung's creation. Now I have the "look" for less...or should I say totally free of cost! :) PS: The shirt reminds me of Hello Kitty
