Delicious Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Cook up a super quick and yummy veggie grilled sandwich!

You Will Need (6 things)

  • 1 Red Pepper
  • 1 pack Halloumi
  • 1 Red Onion
  • Frank's Red Hot Original
  • 4 Wholemeal Bread Slices
  • gherkins

Steps (5 steps, 30 minutes)

    Firstly, gather up all your yummy ingredients. You can choose whichever veggies you want to grill but I have chosen red pepper, red onion and some halloumi.

    Next, chop up your ingredients - the grill has two sides so try to keep them flat to get your veggies as evenly cooked as possible. I've also decided to add in some sliced pickles (gherkins) and some Frank's Red Hot Sauce to add in to my sandwich!

    When you're ready, start up the grill and start cooking your ingredients!

    You'll want to start the halloumi first as this takes the longest to cook and the veggies take between 3-5 minutes. Veggies can be done for longer if you want them to be really soft in the sandwich.

    Next grill your bread, I lightly buttered both sides of the bread to ensure it didn't burn but still gave me those amazing looking grill lines on top!

    Lastly, construct your sandwich and enjoy! I highly recommend making some home made chips and perhaps some cous cous to have on the side!
