Pretty and Practical
When my great-aunt Betty moved to North Caroline, she told me how to make one of these. I decorated the velvet with silk flowers and embroidered/beaded leaves. I then sewed the velvet together and attached it with thread to the latch. My mom uses it for holding earrings when she travels.
