How to be a princess... of gore. xD
I'm planning on a lot of new, funny bits and pieces to enhance my closet with a little bit of cute AND dead... So basically the same thing I always do. xD

  • How to make an embellished headband. Death Is Cute Spiky Headband - Step 1
    Step 1

Get that headband! The plastic ones, you know? ( Make sure it's really plastic. Something satin lined looks nice but just doesn't work! )

Mine was horribly cheap, it comes with the not so anatomically correct shape, but so what...

Flip over to the inside, take something like e.g. a silver gel rollerpen ( something that you could see on black ) and mark the spots where the spikes will be. Make sure to make the distances between them even.
    Mucho importante.

    Step 2

Gather those screwy spikes / studs. I used nine. Remember that the more spikes you use, the heavier the whole thing will get! Nine spikes are already pretty heavy.

You can not only use killer spikes ( the ones I used ), but the extremely long and pointy ones or the little short cute ones... Or use short ones on the sides and male them get longer to the middle ^^

    Step 3

Put holes in the plastic! You've got to find your best way to do these, drill, melt, whatever. I put a fat needle over a flame and melt it through the plastic ( open the window!!! ), after that I widened the holes with a pedicure rotary file thingy... xD

They have to be wide enough to slide the screwy screw part through.

    Step 4

Put the spike tips on, put headband on, position in front of a mirror, make hillariously stupid pictures. xD

I love the way it looks like a grungy princess crown. ^^ Can't wait to wear it out tomorrow night ( promised, untill then, my bangs will have a showable colour again... ), just gotta remember not to headbang with this thing on. xD

Gonna wear it with a shirt that I'm hopefully gonna finish tomorrow. White with a free handed ribcase painting on it. xD

Uhm, Brook, then -maybe- you're not shopping in the right places.

Plus, guys, there's always the internet.

Well, I know for sure that you can get them via the interwebs, and there are stores that sell 'em ( alternative / gothic clothing stores might sell them! ). I got mine from a fromer spike belt that fell apart. :'(
So I'm having tons of spikes lying around and I just have to recraft them. ^^
