I found a home sweet home darning kit. I made a pattern on graph paper of jolly roger, and darned it! I also salvaged some beautiful ribbon from a gift set. This was my first shot at darning. It is a mix between weaving and cross stitch. It was fun, fast and easier than cross stitch.
