The "Oh my god! That's such a cute pattern! Oh! I have fabric that's perfect!" 5 minutes after finishing sleeves: "HHUUUUUUUHHHH!! HONKHONKSTOPSIGNDOORBELL!!!"
Simplicity 2406.

I just finished this dress this morning. I woke up and went straight back to work. I worked on it for a goo 3 hours yesterday. 2 1/2 hours of that time was spent on the sleeves and belt. 2 hours for the sleeves...RIDICULOUSLY tedious. But it came out cute and I like it.

I bought sew-in interfacing instead of the iron-on that the pattern called for, but it worked just fine.

The fabric cost me $0.99/yd. $4.99 at 80% off was a wicked good deal. And the interfacing cost me $0.99 at 20% off (employee discount) for 3 yards of 15". All in all, this dress cost me about $4.

I would have given up, but I was hyped up on caffeine and had 2 days off with no roommate and my boyfriend had work. And now you have reminded me that I want to make this pattern again...

Kudos for finishing! I would have given up. I love the belt especially.
