Cutie Diner Apron

My mom has been complaining lately that her apron is boring, and it made her feel old. So i decided to be a good daughter and sew up a fashionable apron out of some remnants that i had lying around.
There are 3 kinda of patterns going on in this piece, i think thats my favorite part. They all fit together quite nicely. The red is actually REALLY small hearts that looked like pokadots. I actually painted the stripes on with some acrylic paint, because paint is cheaper than fabric. I'm glad i did, they have a canvas kind of feel.
The picture is me wearing it. Its a little loose cause i'm pretty petite, but like i said its for my mom. She absolutely loved it, and made dinner that night in her new apparel.
If anybody wants a how to I'd be glad to write one up. I just wanted to get my first project up :)

- 1 yd Board Cloth Fabric mine is the red with white hearts, the main color
- 1 yd Board Cloth Fabric mine is the stripes, the contrasting color/pattern
- Matching Thread
- 1 yd Iron On Interfacing for the back of the apron, looks proffesional and makes it stiff
- 1 yd Board Cloth Fabric mine is the white, for the straps
