For the head and body .Make 2ch .Round 1: 6dc in second ch from hook .Round 2: 2dc in each st (12sts) .Round 3: *1dc in next stitch,2dc in next stich, rep from* to end (18sts) .Round 4: *1 dc in next 2 stiches 2 dc in next st, rep again to end .Round 5: 1dc in next 3 stitches and 2 dc in next stitch (30sts) .Round 6-13, 1dc in each stitch .Round 14: 1dc in next 3 stitches, dc2tog, erp to end (24sts) .Round 15: 1dc in next 2 stitches, dc2tog, rep to end (18sts) .Round16 1 dc in each stitch. insert safety eyes or make lots of loops with some wool as I didn't have any left. Firmly stuff the body. .Round 17: 1 dc in next stitch, 2dctog rep to end (12) .Round 18: dc2tog around till opening is closed.
For the legs, make 8 of the same colour. mine are different as I ran out of the lighter colour. Push the centre in the hat up and curl around at the sides. Embroider an anchor shape ontop then sew on the head at a jaunty angle.
