I will definitely be doing this tee. I think I will keep it very similar except the sleeves. I will cut off the sleeve hem, on the underside (wrong side) stitch my ribbon to to the tee. Pull the ribbon to the right side (covering those stitches)and proceed to wave it thru the loops. At the sleeve seam cut a very small opening to pull that ribbon thru and stitch again capturing the ribbon and closing the shoulder seam cut.
