Step 1For the body
make 2ch
Round 1: 6dc in second ch from hook
Round 2: 2dc in each st. (12sts)
Round 3: 1dc in next st and then 2dc in next st.. rep to end (18)
Round 4: 1dc in next 2 st, 2dc in next st.. rep to end (24sts)
Round 5: 1dc in next 3 sts, 2dc in next st.. rep to end (30)
Round 6: 1dc in next 4st, 2dc in next st.. rep to end (36sts)
Round 7-14: 1dc in each st
Round 15: 1dc in next 4st, dc2tog, rep to end (30sts)
Round 16: 1dc in next 3sts, dc2tog, rep to end (24)
Round 17: dc in each st
Round 18: dc in next 2sts, dc2tog.. rep to end (18sts)
Round 19: 1dc in each st
Round 20: 1dc in next st, dc2tog.. rep to end (12sts)Insert some buttons for eyes if you like, I just sewed mine on as the mouse I made was going to a young child. Then stuff it firmly
Rounds 21-22: dc in each st
