Sweet way to embellish a plain canvas bag. Dead simple and makes a great present
Make a whole bunch of knitted cords, it'll drive you a bit mad but keep going, you'll need approximately 5, depending how many flowers/shoots you want to add to your bag.
Once you've finished knitting, fold the cord on itself to make a little flower and add a wee button to the middle to cover the messy bit. For the shoots, use a darning needle for a neater finish so you won't need the button.
Place the flowers and shoots on the bag and stitch them on with either wool and a darning needle or a needle and thread. You will still need a darning needle to neaten up the loose wool at the base of the flower
You're all done!
