modgepodge is a thin glue used for all sorts of things.
personally i make my own and will put a tutorial up some time. (1 part water, 2 parts elmers all purpose white glue)
you can buy it in scrap booking stores and it is amazing! i use it for everything!

You could also get him one of those guitar pick punches and he can make his own. I really like your idea. He will like it.

Beautiful! I've been searching for that special something for my music obsessed friend's birthday and this just might do the trick.

thats AWESOME! But, I've got a few suggestions to make it simpler.

An inscense stick works WONDERFULLY on picks for putting holes in them. Happy You just have to make sure that the whole top of the stick is lit, and not just the side for an even hole. Happy

and instead of modge podge, since it wears, you can use resin which will probably last longer than the pick! Happy You can get it for like 16 dollars at ace hardware for a HUGE tub. Well... perhaps not a huge tub, but a very large container. Because usually for that size it costs like 100 dollars.

The trick is, buy the resin for tables, not for artists. It is the same thing... just because you put "artist" in front of it, it automatically costs more. Happy

Lovely Happy I made a bracelet out of painted guitar picks for my friend's birthday earlier in the year. Yours look awesome Happy I assume yours are stronger than mine were cos yours are modgepodged. I wouldn't advise playing the guitar with them though, because the paint and modgepodge might crack and the design will ruin. I love the camo one, my bf would love that.
