I had 14 hours to sew the entire jacket during the competition from altering the pattern, to cutting it out, and constructing the garment. We were given a very basic pattern (just a straight jacket with no details). We then had to alter/add to the original pattern with details such as pockets, tabs, a yoke, a belt..etc. Every competitor's jacket was unique because there was so much we could do.
