Description

LISTEN UP! My first time working with FIMO, it was fun, but REAAAALLLLY tricky, I used FIMO soft and FIMO effect and they were really stiff, I stopped taking pictures near the end because it was really hard for me :') My first HOW TO, i made it mega detailed i hope you like it (:

Instructions

  1. Small dscf9773 1258719022

Step One, Gather the things you need for the first couple of stages, In the photo i have two packets of FIMO, one is the color of the cream and one the color of the actual biscuit. I also have my chain (I used a gold chain because I like vintage things so i don't wear silver but you can use silver if you prefer) And finally i have half of a custard cream with out the cream you can use whatever biscuit you want. (:

  2. Small dscf9774 1258719619

Open one pack of FIMO (I used the lighter one which was for the cream as i'd be using less of this) And wrap the FIMO around the Custard Cream half. Press down on the top softly making sure you don't break the biscuit but also making sure you leave an imprint.

  3. Small dscf9775 1258720524

Next unravel the FIMO carefully while making sure the imprint doesn't get distorted.

  4. Small dscf9777 1258720726

Take another lump of the lighter FIMO for the actual cream. Use a craft rolling pin (Or in my case a pencil, i couldn't find a rolling pin haha) Roll it out and reshape it into a flat and irregular oval so it has a random look.

  5. Small dscf9778 1258723445

Line it up against your half custard cream and see how realistic it looks before continuing to the next step.

  6. Small dscf9931 1260020478

Bake your fimo mould and cream, I used foil, yeah it worked fine

  7. Small dscf9933 1260020924

Press your darker shade of FIMO (I brushed it with darker orangey chalk just before baking) into the mold And REALLLLLLLYYYYY carefully peel it out, this took me a couple of tries as it kept ripping. Next you must bake it (SEE STEP ABOVE!)

  8. Small dscf9932 1260020661

So now that you have one side of your custard cream, repeat step 7. Now you'll have two sides, Super glue the inside (Cream) to the other two sides so it's like a sandwich. Screw a charm loop in and Hang it on a chain, Hope you liked it :)
