If you're feeling clever like I was, you can decanter the batter into two some other mugs. This is a child's peter rabbit mug. I took care not to drown Peter, but as we'll see later, I definitely over filled. (Do not overfill.) It's best to keep the batter to the bottom two thirds of the cup.
Microwave on full power for three minutes. I think my microwave is 800 watts. If yours is more powerful, do two minutes. You can always do an extra minute, but you can't take minutes away once it's burnt.
This is why it's important not to overfill. Poor Peter Rabbit and his family have been obliterated by molten chocolate goo. If you click on the image you can see the giant Elvis quiff that came out of the cup also- which I find quite impressive.
