I failed on making a real Pikachu stuffed animal, so I made a kawaii cubed Pikachu instead! This is my first tutorial, so I hope you guys like it! I don't own Pikachu,or Pokemon in any way. There are many ways to make a cubed Pikachu, but this tutorial is how I make it. You can also sew a keyring to make it into a keychain! If you make one, make sure to show it to everyone! I'm excited to see what you guys make!

Instructions

  1. Small materials

Here are the material you will need. Thread (Yellow, Black, and Red) Felt (Yellow, Black, and Red), Scissors, Stuffing, Ruler, and a Pencil.

  2. Small step1

First you will want to cut out 6 squares out of the yellow felt. I measured mine about 1.5 inches height and width. Cut out two tails, and four ears. With the black felt cut out four black spots for the ears, a spot for the tail, and two(black or brown) stripes for his back. Then cut out black circles for the eyes, and red ovals for his cheeks! (sorry I don't have a template)

  3. Small step2

Use the black thread to sew the black spots on to his ears. The take two ears put them back-to-back and sew them together with the yellow thread. This will make them firm, and help them stand up on his head.

  4. Small step3

We are going to do the same with his tail, using the black thread to sew on his spot, and then using the yellow thread to sew the other half of his tail together back-to-back.

  5. Small step4

Moving on to his face, sew the two black circles to his face with black thread. Then sew the red ovals right under his eyes using red thread.

  6. Small step5

To make Pikachu's face I used the pencil to slightly draw where I wanted his mouth and nose to be. Use the black thread and follow the marks of the pencil.

  7. Small step6

Now we are going to work on the body, sew the squares together like in the example. Then sew the side together. *DO NOT SEW THE FACE ON YET!*

  8. Small step7

You should have a box-like body without the top. For a better explanation check out some videos on YouTube! :D

  9. Small step8

Now we are going to sew on his face, I suggest starting on the bottom left side, where I am pointing in the example, and sewing counter clockwise. Once you get to the top right corner, you will sew on his ear.

  10. Small step9

Sewing his ear on was a bit tricky for me. Before sewing the corner up, put his ear in between the corners. When you are sewing make sure it is strong enough so that it won't fall off.

  11. Small step10

Repeat step 10, when you get to the next corner for his ear. Don't worry if it doesn't turn out well, my first one didn't. :P

  12. Small step11

Once you are finished with the ears, leave a small opening to put the stuffing in.

  13. Small step12

If it makes it easier, use a pencil to insert the stuffing inside.

  14. Small step13

We are almost done! On Pikachu's back, sew on his two stripes using the black thread, or brown.

  15. Small step14

Finally sew on his tail, using the yellow thread!

  16. Small finished

And you are finished! Keep him on display, or give them as a gift to the Pokemon lover in your life. Enjoy!
