I wanted to make my own crunchy oats, because I loooove it! Instead of the maple syrup, I used golden syrup. Instead of the jumbo rolled oats, I used normal porridge oats, and instead of the pecan nuts, I used pistachios. You see, you can vary this recipe. You could also use hazelnuts or almond, or a variation.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C

  2. mix all ingredients together and spread on to a large greased baking tray

  3. bake for 30-35minutes until golden and crunchy

  4. eat your cereals with milk or enjoy them with (greek) yoghurt and fruits.
