I shot this photo in Philly over the Holidays and I loved how it turned out! I made the cross dress from a Nylon DIY! Its a favorite of mine so I thought I would share!

Total Cost: Just about $50 + 1 hour manual labor.

So worth it! I might try doing a pink punk jacket like this as well!

    Purchased a long sleeved black velvet dress.

    Ordered some multi-colored plastic crosses you can find a variety at any bead store, or online.

  • Step 3

    Sewed ‘em on with a needle and thread.

neat project... but i'm kinda questioning how this is true DIY.... i mean, you bought a ready-made dress, and ready made crosses, and then just sewed them on...?
