Awesome long-strapped, button-close, spacious purse!
The story is... my work gave me an agenda to use, which was too big for my purse. My purse was needing a trade-in soon anyway. I had some yarn a friend gave me for Yule that I hadn't decided on a purpose for... so I decided to make myself a purse that would be comfy and fit my agenda! Tada!
All I can say for "how-to" is that the bottom is done with two strands (white, and the other yarn I used throughout), to make it sturdier so things wouldn't fall thru... And that the whole bag part was done in rounds, no turning... and all done thru both loops for sturdiness. The top flap was not done thru both loops because I wanted it to flop over nicely... edging was I think 6dc shells and the middle "button hole" loop was just a chain. The strap is just dc's thru both loops... over and over and over. As for the rest, I didn't use a pattern, so *shrugs*.
P.S. don't mind my buttons. I didn't feel like taking them off for the photos.
