  • Step 1

Abbreviations for this pattern include the chain stitch (ch) and single crochet stitch (sc). The pattern is in US terms. A 5mm crochet hook was used, and the yarns I used included Crafter’s Secret in Passport, Vanna’s Choice in Olive, I Love This Yarn, in Peach, and Redheart in Cafe Latte.

ch 6. sc in second ch from hook. sc in each ch across. Turn, ch 1. sc in each sc across ( should be 5 sc). Turn, ch 1. sc first 2 sc together. sc in next sc. sc last 2 sc together. Turn, ch 1. sc in each sc across (should be 3). Turn, ch 1. sc first 2 sc together. sc in last sc. Turn, ch1. sc the remaining 2 sc together. fasten off and weave in ends. Repeat 3 more times with remaining colors of yarn.

  • Step 2

String your triangles onto 2 pieces of yarn using your crochet hook. String the yarn on the backside of the triangles in the back loops only to keep from seeing it on the front side. Tie each end to pretty straws or cake pop sticks and add to your cake!
