Here is a crocheted bracelet that I made and thought I would share. This bracelet is great for anyone who wants to learn to crochet. Very simple. NOTE: I have uploaded How to's on making a Chain Stitch (CH ST), a Half Double Crochet (HDC), and a Double Crochet (DC).

Description

Here is a crocheted bracelet that I made and thought I would share. This bracelet is great for anyone who wants to learn to crochet. Very simple. NOTE: I have uploaded How to's on making a Chain Stitch (CH ST), a Half Double Crochet (HDC), and a Double Crochet (DC).

Instructions

  1. Small photo 1317147147

First you want to gather everything you need for this. You will need: yarn, crochet hook (I 5.5MM), needle, thread, and scissors.

  2. Small photo 2 1317147130

First you want to make a chain long enough to fit around your wrist ( I usually make about 25 chain stitches since my wrists are small).

  3. Small photo 1 1317147200

Okay now for the bracelet I used a half double crochet for the white one and a double crochet for the blue bracelet.

Of course you will want to make the half double crochet stitch (HDC) all the way to the end. If you want to make another row then you will want to chain two and turn your work and make another row of HDC. You can keep doing this until the bracelet is as thick as you want it. I usually do two rows since my wrists are small.

Once you have made the bracelet as thick as you want it. Select a button that fits through to the holes and sew that button onto your bracelet. You can also decorate your bracelet by sewing buttons onto the top or adding a flower like I did on of mine. I have a how to for the flower as well.
