    Size G hook.
    10dc in magic ring, sl st to join.

    Rnd 1. Ch 2 (count as dc throughout) dc in same dc as ch 2, *2 dc in each dc around* 20 dc

    Rnd 2. Ch 2. *2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc* end rnd with 2 dc. Join. 30dc

    Rnd 3. Ch 2. Dc in next dc, *2 Dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc* Join 40dc

    Rnd 4. Ch2. Dc in next 2 dc * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc* Join 50dc

    Rnd 5. Ch2. Dc in next 3 dc * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc.* Join. 60 dc

    For childrens hat:
    Rnd 6. Ch2. Dc in next 9 dc * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 10dc* Join. 65 dc

    For woman's and men's hat:
    Rnd 6. Ch2. Dc in next 4 dc. * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 5 dc* Join. 70 dc

    For mens hat keep going:
    Rnd 7. Ch2. Dc in next 5 dc. * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 6 dc. Join. 80 dc

    For all hat's no matter where you stop at 65dc, 70dc, or 80dc.
    Rnd 7(for woman and children)Rnd 8 (For men)Dc in each dc around. Join

    You can see that this pattern is pretty easy so if my sizes do not fit your head, feel free to adjust. It's very simple to change your increses with this pattern.
    Now on to the brim.

  • Step 2

    Same color
    Rnd 8(woman and children)
    Rnd 9(for men)
    Ch1 Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc) next dc, sc in next dc, around. Join.

    You can change color if you want, just alternate after each rnd.
    Rember to always fpdc in the previous fpdc .

    Repeat until it is the desired lenght.
    Weave in ends, and enjoy.
