Crochet Plant Hanger

This is the last project I completed in April 2009. The picture is sideways as that was the only way I could get the ties in the pic. The pattern is in the vintage magazine "Women's Household Crochet" Fall 1989 issue. I didn't do the crochet straps and I substituted cut out butter tub lids and a 5 gallon ice cream lid for the plastic canvas to stiffen the sides and bottom. The staps I made are some leftover macrame cord. The magazine is often available on Ebay for anyone interested in the published instructions.
