Crochet Peach Pouch

Your New Favorite Mini Purse

I really like how this purse turned out. I kinda got the hang of the pattern (that I was really just making up as I went along), but it gave the purse a taper so it was actually kinda neat. I wish I could remember the pattern so I could post it here, but I don't... I used a size I hook with Caron Natura in Peach and Lace. The purse is made with the Peach color and is about 3.5" at the bottom and 4.5" at the top. It's 5.5" long with the flap closed and 7.5" with the flap open. I used the Lace yarn to make the outline and the handle. I began by slip stitching the new yarn into the crease of the flap and worked around the opening and the flap. For the handle I chained 100, sl st'd into the other side of the purse and DC'd in each stitch back around to the beginning. Viola! Peach Pouch! Add a button to close the flap and you're good to go!
