Body Starting with blue yarn Round 1: start 6 sc in ring Round 2: inc in each st (12 sts) Round 3: [sc, inc] x 6 (18 sts) Round 4: [sc in next 2 sts, inc] x 6 (24 sts) Round 5: [sc in next 3 sts, inc] x 6 (30 sts) Round 6: sc around in BLO (as pictured)(30 sts) Rounds 7-8: (in both loops again) sc around (30 sts)
Round 9: switch to yellow yarn (as pictured), sc in next 11 sts, switch to blue yarn, sc in next 5 sts, switch to yellow yarn, sc in next 10 sts, switch to blue yarn, sc in next 4 sts, switch to yellow yarn. Round 10: sc in next 10 sts, switch to blue yarn, sc in next 5 sts, switch to yellow yarn, sc in next 10 sts, switch to blue yarn, sc in next 3 sts. Round 11: continuing with blue yarn, sc around and switch to yellow yarn in 2nd last st. Rounds 12-16: sc around, switch to black yarn in last st. Round 17: sc around, switch back to yellow yarn in last st. Rounds 18-21: sc around. Fasten off and weave ends.
Goggle With grey yarn Ch 14, sl st to join. Sc in next ch and each ch around, sl st to 1st st and fasten off leaving long tail for sewing.
Cut out a circle with white felt, making sure it fits inside goggle. Cut a tiny slit in the circle for the safety eye. Make sure everything fits properly before sewing felt and goggle.
Once felt circle and goggle are attached, secure safety eye. Option to carefully trim safety eye excess with a pair of pliers.
Embroider a smile with a bit of black embroidery thread and you’re ready to enjoy a cold drink in your Minion Cosy!
