First upload- crochet horse
Made this as a gift for my friend who loves horses. First time creating my own crochet pattern so hope you like it!

  • How to make a horse / pony plushie. Crochet Mini Horse - Step 1
    Step 1

    Use G (4.25 mm) Hook. work in rounds

    HEAD
    Ch 2
    1) 6sc in 2nd chain from hook
    2) (2 sc in first sc, sc in next sc) repeat around ( 9 sc)
    3-4) work even (9 sc)
    5) (2 sc in first sc, sc in next 2 sc) repeat around (12 sc)
    6) sc in each sc around
    7) (2 sc in first sc, sc in next 3 sc) repeat around (15 sc)
    8-9) work even
    10) (sc dec, sc in next sc) repeat around 9 sc
    STUFF
    11-whenever) Sc dec around until hole is closed
    Finish off
    BODY
    Chain 2
    1) 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook
    2) 2 sc in each sc around (12 sc)
    3) (2 sc in first sc, sc in next sc) repeat around (18 sc)
    4-10) sc in each sc around
    11) (sc-dec, sc in next sc) repeat around (12 sc)
    STUFF
    12) sc-dec around (6 sc)
    13) sc-dec around (3 sc)
    Finish off leaving long tail. Use tail to sew head on to body.
    EARS
    chain 3
    1 sc in 2nd chain from hook, sc in remaining st.
    Finish off leaving long tail. Use tail to sew ear to head.
    LEGS
    Using contrast hoof color
    Chain 2,
    1) 8 sc in 2nd chain from hook
    2) IN BACK LOOPS ONLY. sc in each sc around
    Finish off and switch to main color
    3-6) work even
    finish off leaving long tail. Use tail to sew leg to body
    TAIL
    take 5 strands of yarn about 5-6 inches in length and attach to back end of body
    Grab middle of yard strand with hook and pull through, Like you would latch hook
    Pull both free ends of yarn strand through loop, pulling tight to secure hair.
    MANE
    Same as tail except You will continue to place yarn down back of horses neck, use 2-3 strands of yarn

In the pattern it doesn't say anything about a neck? Just wondering if it has a neck or if the head goes straight onto the body and this is hidden by the mane? Thanks Happy
