Instructions

  1. ABBREVIATIONS: ch: chain sl st: slip stitch sc: single crochet hdc: half double crochet dc: double crochet fphdc: front post half double crochet bphdc: back post half double crochet st: stitch gauge: 6 st and 6 rows is 2 inches in pattern

  2. CROCHET HEADBAND ADULT SIZE R1: Fhdc 56, sl st in the first fhdc to join in circle, ch 1 (56) If you are not familiar with fhdc (I strongly suggest that you learn it), you can chain 58, hdc in third chain from hook and then hdc in all chains left, sl st in first hdc to join in circle, ch 1 (56) R2: * fphdc in first st, bphdc in next st * repeat from * to * around, sl st to join, ch 1 (56) R3: * sc in first st, dc in next st * repeat from * to * around, sl st to join, ch 1 (56) R4: * dc in first st, sc in next st * repeat from * to * around, sl st to join, ch 1 (56) R5-8: repeat rounds 3 and 4 R9: hdc in each st around, sl st to join, ch 1 (56) R10: * fphdc in first st, bphdc in next st * repeat from * to * around, sl st to join, ch 1 (56) Fasten off, weave in your ends and you are done!
