I never understood crochet - and that made me fear it - but I couldn't let go of wanting to learn it & after many many hours of trial & error I finally completed the mystery that is the granny square! I'm so happy I kept going with it - now I'm totally addicted to crochet - it's threatening to take over from all my other crafting oops ;) I'm also finding these really relaxing to make so I have a pile of them that keeps growing... maybe a wonky blanket of squares in my future eh? ;)
