To keep my hands warm and my fingers free.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I have an issue with always being cold. Sooooo. To try and combat such an issue while still having full dexterity in my fingers to do things like type, cook, etc... I made fingerless hand gloves!

I have that same issue even in Summer both my hands and feet are cold, it's awful ! Great idea to crochet fingerless gloves, wearing them does help I do the same.
