These Daisy Granny Square Coasters are a great way to dress up your table for Spring and use up any scrap yarn! Materials: • Size H Crochet Hook • Worsted weight yarn in three colors for flower center, flower petals and granny square. I used Lily Sugar n’ Cream cotton yarn • Tapestry needle for weaving ends Abbreviations: dc – double crochet tc – treble crochet sl st – slip stitch ch – chain mc – magic circle

These Daisy Granny Square Coasters are a great way to dress up your table for Spring and use up any scrap yarn! Instructions

  1. MC, ch 2

  2. Round 1: With yellow yarn, 8 dc into circle. Join. (8)

  3. Round 2: Change to yarn for flower petal. *Ch 3, dc, tc, dc, ch 3* all in the same stitch. Sl st into next st. Repeat * for the 7 remaining petals. Fasten off.

  4. Round 3: Join your granny square color into the top of any tc with a sl st. Ch 3. 2 dc into same st. Ch 1. 3 dc into the top of the next tc from the previous round. Ch 1. *3 dc, ch 1, 3dc in the top of the next tc from previous round. Ch 1. 3 dc into next tc. Ch 1* Repeat * 2 more times. 3 dc into the beginning tc. Ch 1. Join into the top of the ch 3.

  5. Round 4: Ch 3. 2 dc into same st. Ch 1. 3 dc into ch 1 space from the previous round, twice. Ch 1. *3 dc, ch 1, 3dc in ch 1 space from previous round (corner). Ch 1. 3 dc into ch 1 space, twice. Ch 1* Repeat * 2 more times. 3 dc into the beginning tc. Ch 1. Join into the top of the ch 3. Fasten off and weave all ends.
