My boyfriend is a major H.P. Lovecraft fan and when I found the pattern for a crocheted cthulhu, he just had to have it. This project was a lot of fun to make, especially when putting it together and seeing the final result! My crocheted cthulu was made using a 3.50mm hook as 3.75mm is not available in the UK. So he turned out smaller than the one in the pattern. But I think he looks cuter as a result. For a bigger sized cthulu try using a larger hook.
