Crochet Covered Wooden Shoe

I collect wooden shoes and I found this beauty at the thrift store. I thought about painting until inspiration struck! I'll crochet it!

I used a combination of doily and shawl patterns. There are five separate crochet pieces sewn together.

I took a bit of trial and error to figure out the right shape and sizes of crochet pieces that would work together.
