i made this brooch with a thrifted crochet doily a length of black ribbon and a vintage metal button shank button that i altered - i painted it,distressed it,rubber stamped it and then varnished it. i just popped the shank through the central hole in the doily ,added a brooch pin to the back and threaded the ribbon through the holes in the doily. simples.
