You Will Need (3 things)

  • Hoisin Sauce
  • 3 Scallions
  • half pound Chicken Breast

Steps (12 steps, 30 minutes)

  1. 1

Marinate chicken for at least two hours in:
    *1 tbsp Light soy sauce
    *1 tbsp Cooking wine
    *1 tbsp Cooking oil
    *1 tbsp Corn flour
    *1 tbsp Water
    * salt to taste

  2. 2

In a bowl mix the sauce ingredients :
    *1 tbsp Soy sauce
*2 tbsp Sweet bean paste or Hoisin sauce
    *1 tsp Ginger. Grated.
    *1 tbsp Cooking wine
    *1 tbsp Sugar
    *1 tspn paprika powder/cayenne pepper

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan.

  4. 4

Add the marinated chicken to the pan

  5. 5

Cook on medium heat for about 10 -15 minutes.

  6. 6

Meanwhile chop the scallions : finely chop the white part. The green is for garnishing

  7. 7

Keep stirring the chicken once in a while so that it doesn't burn. Sear the chicken well till it is crispy.

  8. 8

Take it out of the pan and keep aside in a bowl.

  9. 9

Now add the sauce mixture to the pan and let it bubble on high heat for a minute.

  10. 10

    Add the seared chicken.

  11. 11

    Toss to coat well.

  12. 12

Garnish with the scallion greens that we saved earlier and serve.
