A simple, quirky Christmas tree topper for me.
I wanted something that wasn't particularly religiously affiliated for my tree topper, nor did I really want something store-bought, and I thought perhaps a moon would be nice, something with cool/icy colors. I've always loved crescent moons, so I thought it would be a nice handmade touch to my first very own Christmas tree.

It was super easy, honestly. All I did was form a sort of awkward spiral to (hopefully!) hold it on to the top of the tree, and then formed the crescent shape, all out of a single piece of thick wire. Then I just took a long piece of 20 gauge wire, and started wrapping a little and adding beads at random.

I'm kind of proud of this! Just wanted to share, it's a really simple idea, and really I figure it could be done in just about any shape you like.
