Instructions

  1. Small 2018 01 11 155516 img 1164%2bcopy

Prepare the paper - napkins have three layers which you will need to separate. Use the top layer only. Cut a central motif to fit your pendant, trim if necessary.

  2. Small 2018 01 11 151704 img 7144

Brush an even layer of decoupage glue on the flat side of the cabochon.

  3. Small 2018 01 11 151726 img 7146

Place the paper motif, carefully tap into place and brush more glue on top. Allow to dry.

  4. Small 2018 01 11 151749 img 7150

Block the motif with acrylic paint. Allow to dry.

  5. Small 2018 01 11 151812 img 7155

Cut paper shapes in a different colour to create a second layer: this is what will be seen behind your central motif.

  6. Small 2018 01 11 151904 img 7162

Turn the cabochon over and glue the paper shapes to the flat side. Allow to dry.

  7. Small 2018 01 11 151931 img 7163

    Trim the edges.

The final step is to glue the cabochon to the metal bezel with Diamond Glaze. Allow to dry for an hour or so and you can start wearing your new piece of jewellery!
