Soft, sweet & Crispy on top. The dough needs to be refrigerated for 2 hrs. You will need to have a blow torch to Brûlée the top or you can leave it with just the icing.
Soft, sweet & Crispy on top. The dough needs to be refrigerated for 2 hrs. You will need to have a blow torch to Brûlée the top or you can leave it with just the icing.
Beat together the butter, oil, sugar & icing sugar.
Add egg, almond extract & vanilla.
Add flour, bicarb, salt & tarter. Stir to just combine.
Scoop the dough onto a tray & refrigerate for at least 2 hrs.
Heat oven 175 degrees. Bake the cookies for 8 mins. Allow To cool completely.
Topping... Cream the butter & cream cheese together. Add the icing sugar to make a stiff frosting.
Spread the frosting on top of the cookies.
Sprinkle the top of the cookies with sugar. Brûlée the sugar.
Serve.
