    Step 4

Apply the first layer of Mod Podge to your ornament. Before it dries completely, place your buttons, rhinestones, glitter, etc. (For glitter, gently pat down the glitter to make sure it gets maximum stickability and shake off excess)

Apply the second layer of Mod Podge after the first layer dries. (For glitter, DO NOT apply a second layer)

    Step 5

Thread your string through the hole once the Mod Podge has completely dried. Keeping both ends together, put one or two beads on the string and tie a knot above them. tie a second knot at the ends of the string to create your loop for hanging. If you prefer hooks, make a smaller loop and use an ornament hook or a paper clip (if that's all you have around).

    Your ornament is now complete!
