This is a seriously good cocktail! All you need are some lemons, beer and bourbon. I recommend using a beer that will really accentuate the lemon notes of this drink so I used a honey based beer. Rye beers also pair well with rye whiskey.

The Ingredients.
Place your sugar, lemons and whiskey into your shaker and muddle.
Then add your ice and shake the hell out of it. That’s a technical term meaning for 20 seconds+.
Then just equally divide your lemonade mixture between your glasses. Fun Fact: the alcohol in the lemonade actually helps the sugar dissolve so you don’t get granules of sugar in your beverage whenever your drinking it.
Then top with desired amount of beer. Typically 6 oz of beer for every 2 oz of lemonade.
Slice up some lemon medallions for garnish and serve.
Then thoroughly enjoy.
