Easy project, very rewarding.
All you need to do is to draw a trance the shape of your hand on the sweater.
Pin both layers.
Stitch along the lines and then cut off (I used pinking shears for that purpose but normal scissors will do as well!).
And that’s all! You may add some embellishments such as buttons, embroidery etc.
