Based on Corset Vest by Rachel L.
It's for projects like this I wish I had a dressmaker's dummy. I had to hold the fabric round me, pin and hope. Luckily I've got a sewing machine so I could hem the fabric neatly. I couldn't find the pattern Rachel L. used either so I just made it up as I went along.
It's made from an old pair of trousers so it's not as wide as the original - but it'll do.
The buttons aren't quite even and I didn't use the machine for the button holes because I'm really bad at that - but the holes will be covered up anyway so it'll be alright. I was just impressed I had 8 matching buttons!
Maybe with a plainer shirt in the future... i was just wearing the checkered one at the time :L
