buy dried corn on cobb at loal farm, feed store, strip off corn, dunk in polyurethane, let dry and get scratching.
My exhusbends father use to make these out of corn cobbs,he would dunk them in polyurethene , then let them get hard ,then share them with family and friends, one hint ,be careful,i hung them from my cloths line ,i went to bend down to get another one , it dropped in the back of my long hair, what a mess.they are a little rough but most people know how to use them as a back scratcher.I would hang them to dry for at least 48 hrs to make sure they are dry.
