Add your own little constellation to your tree by revamping a boring old bauble that you no longer want. Perfect for Christmas, or for a room decoration year-round.
Add your own little constellation to your tree by revamping a boring old bauble that you no longer want. Perfect for Christmas, or for a room decoration year-round.
Start by coating your bauble in a layer of podge. Allow to dry.
Paint the bauble your desired colour. I went for a dark shade of purple. Consider adding two or even three coats to get it opaque.
Draw the lines of your constellations in white paint. I did this using a toothpick.
Add the stars, using the back of a pin to get almost perfect circles.
Add another layer of podge, and consider sprinkling glitter over it while it dries for extra sparkle.
